Welcome to the Care Professional Register

The Care Professional Register (CPR) is a joint initiative by the National Association of Care & Support Workers (NACAS) and the Institute of Health & Social Care Management (IHSCM) and was developed as a result of the absence of any mandatory register for England. The CPR is hosted and administered by NACAS. For more information about the register please see the links and banner headings below.

The Care Professional Register is intended for individuals working within the care sector in England who meet our qualification standards and wish to be recognised for their commitment to quality care. Registration in the CPR demonstrates to clients, employers, and peers that you uphold the values and standards expected of a trusted care professional.

“Care England warmly welcomes the launch of the Care Professional Register (CPR) a significant milestone in enhancing recognition and improving the status of care professionals in England"
