Who the CPR is for

The Care Professional Register (CPR) is open to individuals working directly in the care and support of people in England. This includes, but is not limited to, the following roles:

  • Domiciliary Care Worker
  • Residential Home Care Worker
  • Nursing Home Care Worker
  • Support Worker
  • Supported Living Care/Support Worker
  • Care Co-ordinator
  • Senior Care Worker
  • Personal Assistant
  • Self-Employed Care Worker (Micro-enterprise)
  • Live-In Care Worker
  • Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

This list is not exhaustive, as job titles may vary across the sector. If your role is not listed, please email enquiries@thecpr.online.

The CPR is designed for care professionals in England who meet our qualification standards and wish to be recognised for their commitment to high-quality care. Registering with the CPR demonstrates to clients, employers, and peers that you uphold the values and standards of a trusted care professional.

Exclusions:

The CPR does not accept applications from individuals who live and work in Northern Ireland, Scotland, or Wales, as these regions have mandatory registration requirements. If you work in one of these areas, please refer to the respective regional register for guidance.
