Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS Checks)
Even though the CPR is a voluntary register, it must uphold and demonstrate the highest commitment to safeguarding the vulnerable. Therefore it will be a condition of registration for all registrants to upload a copy of their DBS Certificate at the point of registration and evidence of any qualifications, so please have these to hand when registering.

Registration Process
There is a 5 stage process for having an entry on the CPR.
1. Initial Registration - click on the Start Registration button below, complete the required fields, and submit.
2. DBS & ID Verification - once your initial registration has been received, and your DBS is registered on the Update Service, this will be validated.
- Where a DBS certificate is not on the Update Service, you will be asked to upload a copy of your current DBS certificate. This will not be publicly viewable
In addition to your DBS, you will be asked for another form of ID to confirm your address. Once we have verified your details, your information will then be deleted from our systems.
3. (a) Minimum Qualification Evidence - we will ask you to upload copies of your qualification certificate(s) as proof of attainment.
(b) Liability Insurance (self-employed only) - if you are a self- employed (micro-provider) you will be asked to upload evidence of your liability insurance certificate
4. Payment of Fees (non-refundable) - as soon as all of your information has been verified, a further email will be sent containing a payment link for the registration fee.
5. Confirmation - as soon as all of your information has been verified and the registration fee has been paid, a final email will be sent advising you if your registration has been successful.
If successful, this email will also contain your unique register PIN and your digital registration badge.
